OUR STORY & PHILOSOPHY

I care about your guitar AND your fingers

Hi my name is Jimmy Pinch

For 30 years I have worked  as a pro guitar tech,  instrument maker and repairer, with 20 of those years serving the guitar community in Devon.

I have successfully made roughly 2,500 guitars play better for people over the last 30 years with not one complaint! just a lot of happy guitar players.

I am also a  singer/songwriter, and  BBC Introducing artist.

I understand the needs of guitar players, because of a lifelong passion for the guitar, and several years experience as a touring session guitar player.

I make guitars easier to play for beginners and professionals alike. All my shop instruments for sale have had a pro set up.

A perfectly fretted and set up guitar can extended practice times and improve performances greatly.

Guitars need TLC, even when they are new straight from the factory!

HAVE NO FEAR!

Guitars that have perfect frets and action can be a joy to play with no pain here at Pinchy's Guitar Garage at Castle Guitars HQ.

I do Fretwork, Fret dressing and leveling, restringing, setups, oiling, cleaning, electronics, fix binding, repair cracks. I am used to working on all types of guitars and basses.

I make up-cycled instruments and crazy creations. I have a reputation for quality work at affordable prices and I am used to working on all types of guitars from vintage to modern.

Please bring your guitar in for a FREE evaluation.  You'd be surprised how many potential guitarists give up because the guitar hurts to play, probably billions! but now it doesn't have to.be a pain.
